This has for a long time been a topic that has brought great differences between diffwernt populations in the world. In a country that has approximately 1.345 billion people religion is expected to be a major component of the daily life of the people.
The religions in India are Hinduism (majority religion), Islam (largest minority religion), Sikhism, Christianity, Buddhism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Judaism and the Bahá'í Faith.
Through out my two week stay there's a few things that I discovered about this topic.

1. Respect
Entry into the holy areas of the different religious places requires that one remove their shoes before entry into the worship area. At the Akshardam temple for example Photography as well as mobile devices are prohibited.
2. Different beliefs
The Bahá'í temple that I was able to visit is constructed in the shape of a lotus flower to symbolise purity of the place. The purpose of this faith is to unite the world in a universal cause and common Faith.
Hinduism is assumed to be the oldest religion in the world believes in non-violence ,Karma and acknoledges the religious diversity. Mahatma Gandhi is one of the most famous practitioners of this religion.

Islam is also a widely practiced religion whose doctrines and architectural styles have significantly influenced Indian culture. I was able to get a glimpse of the aerial shot ao a mosque as the woshipwers went in to worship.
